How did a school pull together disparate teaching philosophies creating a cohesive, defined, and team-executed multiyear grade level program fulfilling the mission of the school? How can design thinking tools create an atmosphere of collaboration and innovation to propel curriculum? The Director of Innovation and Teaching and Grade Level Leaders from Tilton School describe their journey in re-imagining education and The Mastery Approach. A candid conversation of failures and the lessons learned illuminates the design thinking process and captures the curricular benefit and creation of safe space. Participants get a working understanding of structures, meeting design, and tools they can use at their own school.
