Smith has been using a variety of human centered design tools to help students navigate their many pathways through college and beyond, giving them greater agency and intentionality as they progress. In this session, we will provide an overview of the principles of human centered design, discuss several tools used in this process, and how we have successfully adapted them to different settings and populations of students. While our primary audience has been college aged students, we will address the ways these tools can be adapted and used for any age of learner.
