Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Feedback form is now closed.
We will share our district’s story about why and how we implemented a social emotional learning (SEL) initiative. The presentation will share resources our district used as part of this journey which includes ongoing research, reflection, collaboration, and professional development activities. Through sharing our story, participants will understand our district’s needs and processes and then spend time analyzing their own educational context and culture. As part of this workshop, participants will identify possible programs and processes to address emotions and learning in their district/school focused on developing a safe, positive, respectful climate of understanding for staff, teachers, and students. This interactive presentation will include brainstorming, sharing, and the development of draft plans so that participants can begin designing their own journey of context-driven SEL implementation.
